What do you plan to learn/explore at this conference?
I plan to learn a lot about people, people interactions, building teams and coaching individuals.Want to explore on new games which can be used to illustrate different agile principles.
How do you plan to contribute?
I help organize this event (Agile Coach Camp Norway), will definitely run a session or two on Open Space (coaching questions, responsibility, how to sell agile). Will bring my energy with me :)!

I have been working with agile methods (first XP, then Crystal, Scrum and others; more recently Kanban and Lean) since 1998/1999. In that time I have introduced agile to lots of teams and multiple companies. I currently work for Cisco as an internal coach, working with multiple teams and organizations.
What do you plan to learn/explore at this conference?
I am open to learning new techniques, practices and ideas that will help me on my journey of becoming a better coach. Specific topics that currently interest me, and I that I would like to explore, include: (1) Coaching organizations – creating the right environment so our agile teams can thrive; helping the entire organization to become more agile; (2) Stakeholder engagement and agile coaching – how to effectively engage with broad communities of stakeholders (3) Coaching from a distance – working with distributed and dispersed teams; (4) Creating coaching circles, coaching dojos and other learning environments within an organization
How do you plan to contribute?
I plan to propose a session from the ones I listed above, and fully participate in as many other sessions as possible. Also happy to help in any other way that’s needed.

I started introducing XP in a team in 2000 because I felt that was what they needed. Left when they didn't need me anymore. That became a pattern and I kept doing it for 10 years... Found out this year that it's called coaching. Still love it.

I want to learn how to communicate agile ideas even better. Many ideas are somehow counter-intuitive, as taking longer on each feature to be faster. Also, I'm giving a 2-hour speech the next week on lean, syststems thinking and agile, I hope to get a lot of input!
